Lee Reloading Presses
In the year 1958 the Lee reloading business was started in the home workshop of Mr. Richard Lee which started with the invention of the famous Lee Loader for shotgun shells. The Lee Loaders, mainly for rifle and pistol ammunition, were invented sometime in the early sixties. It was these highly effective and most economical tools that introduced over one and a half million shooters to the reloading press.
It was in the seventies that the first lathe turned aluminum bullet molds came into existence along with melters and sizers. These made casting bullets easy and also more precise than ever before. The molds have been designed to be so precise that most Lee bullets do not require any sizing. The most popular Lee Load-All for shotgun shells were invented toward the mid decade,
The Lee Loader users were seen to enthusiastically upgrade to the new Lee presses and dies when these new ones were introduced in the eighties. Most owners and users of other brands of dies and presses easily changed over to this new Lee due to the innovative features offered by Lee. It was during this period, that tens of thousands' of the reloaders’ started to enjoy the speed and fun of reloading with the new Lee Turret Press. They were attracted by the most popular of all progressive presses the Lee Pro 1000.
Initially, it was found that every Lee product was distinctly different from the products offered by other companies. However, other companies started to imitate this inventions of Lee and offered products as good as this, but it was at higher prices. Dies, presses, crimpers, powder measures, priming tools, scales, bullet molds, melters, bullet sizers, lubricants, turrets, trimmers and many accessories are all the inventions that was introduced by Lee and that was copied by others.
You can find out for yourself that every Lee product would pass through three questions.:
1.Does it fulfill a real need or do you find it to be better than any other product available?
2.Can it be produced and sold at an affordable price?
3.Would I really buy one?
You will find the answer to be yes to all of the three questions.
The Lee product has been found to be unconditionally guaranteed for two years
and it also offers a conditional lifetime guarantee. Lee dies are guaranteed to produce ammunition that come with less bullet run-out than offered by any other brand.
